The Skinny
UTV Concepts is offering an out-of-the-box system that comes complete with two rear tail/brake lights, two cargo bay lights, two license plate lights, one interior dome light and license plate inserts. The light bar mounts on the stock Rhino cage at the roof line for optimal safety for those following you. The system wires quickly into your stock wiring harness and does not eliminate the factory tail/brake lights.
Also from UTV Concepts, they have taken all of the guesswork out of building a stereo system for the Rhino by offering an out-of-the-box product that sounds as great as it looks. The system comes complete with four high performance speakers and an AM/FM/CD stereo that is MP3 ready. The system comes pre-wired, installs in minutes, and is finished in a brilliant silver powder coating for the ultimate in durability and quality. The rear light bar fits the 2004 -2008 Yamaha Rhino with the 450cc, 660cc or 700cc EFI power plants.
The Bottom Line
Just when you think you have seen it all, along comes a company with their own ideas of what is needed in the UTV market. We met up with Jason Cobb to learn more about his new company offerings from UTV Concepts. Their rear light bar & stereo rack system has great functionality appeal. Those of you that have your vehicle registered for on-road use will appreciate the area to mount your plates to as well as the two license plate lights on the rear light bar. If that is not enough, they added brake lights and two cargo lights to light up your Rhino’s bed. On the inside, they also added an interior dome light to illuminate the cab.
In addition to the rear light bar, you
can add a stereo rack system that comes with an MP3 ready AM/FM/CD stereo, perfect for hooking up your MP3 player for trail tunes. This system replaces the front factory bar and fits snug with no rattle or vibration from the aluminum roof. On top, they added a rack for more cargo carrying capacity for the overnight adventurer.
